EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State's Goran Suton is the Big Ten Player of the Week.
Suton (SOO-tahn) was honored Monday for averaging 15.5 points and 12 rebounds last week for the Spartans, who moved up two spots to No. 17 in The Associated Press poll.
The junior from Lansing scored 17 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had four steals in Michigan State's 103-74 win over Indiana and had 14 points and 15 rebounds in a loss at Wisconsin.
Michigan State is 23-6 overall and 11-5 in the Big Ten. It plays Thursday at Illinois and Sunday at Ohio State before moving on to the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments.
The Spartans have lost four straight road games.
