EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Courtney Davidson scored 20 points and Michigan State overcame 33 percent shooting while rallying to beat Illinois 54-46 on Thursday night.
Brittney Thomas with 10 points was the only other player in double figures for the Spartans (18-12, 10-8 Big Ten), who ended the regular season with their fifth win in six games.
Jenna Smith had 15 points and Rebecca Harris 12 for Illinois (15-13, 7-10). The Illini led 26-21 at halftime but shot only 24 percent in the second half.
