Former U of M Hockey Player Charged with ID Theft

A former University of Michigan hockey player accused of stealing a teammate's bank account numbers has been charged with identity theft.
Kevin Quick was released on a personal bond after Tuesday morning's arraignment. The Ann Arbor News says he's allowed to travel to and from Virginia, where he recently signed a tryout contract with a minor league hockey team.
Quick and his attorney, Matt Savage, both declined comment after the hearing.
Wolverines coach Red Berenson dismissed the 19-year-old native of Buffalo, N.Y., on Feb. 1 for violating unspecified team rules.
