Earvin "Magic" Johnson is helping run the "point" for Hillary Rodham Clinton in South Carolina.
The former Michigan State star and celebrated Los Angeles Lakers point guard says in a radio ad for the Clinton camp that he would want the most prepared and experienced person leading his team.
Johnson wants South Carolina voters to send the same message to Barack Obama.
The East Lansing native has endorsed Clinton and campaigned with her.
