DETROIT (AP) -- Dominik Hasek (HAH'-shehk) posted his second consecutive shutout as the Detroit Red Wings won for the 18th time in 21 games, beating Colorado 1-0.
Hasek turned back 19 shots in his 78th career shutout and the Red Wings' league-high 33rd win of the season. He hasn't allowed a goal in more than 134 minutes.
Pavel Datsyuk (DAHT'-sook) scored the game's lone goal, hours after being named to the Western Conference starting lineup for the upcoming NHL All-Star game. Datsyuk beat Jose Theodore for his 17th goal of the season, putting the Wings ahead with 1:39 left in the second period.
Detroit defenseman Chris Chelios (CHEH'-lee-ohs) became the second-oldest player in NHL history at 45 years and 348 days old. Former Red Wing Gordie Howe was 52 years and six days old when he retired in 1980.
