MSU Women Fall Out Of The Top 25

UNDATED (AP) -- Michigan State's women's basketball team has dropped out of The Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The Spartans (8-4) had been ranked No. 23 before losing 54-51 Saturday at the University of Hartford.
Connecticut (9-0) is back at No. 1 after a four-year absence. The Huskies had been ranked second all season.
Tennessee has dropped from No. 1 to No. 3 following Saturday's 73-69 overtime loss to Stanford, which moves up to No. 2.
North Carolina and Maryland each have fallen a spot to fourth and fifth. Rutgers remains No. 6, followed by Georgia, LSU and Oklahoma. Baylor moves back to No. 10 after beating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and St. John's.
