DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Taylor King's 18 points and 17 by fellow freshman Nolan Smith have helped lead No. 6 Duke to a 95-67 rout of Michigan.
Gerald Henderson's 12 points, along with 10 apiece by DeMarcus Nelson and Jon Scheyer, also kept the Blue Devils undefeated in nine games this season.
This marks the third time in four years that Duke has opened with nine straight victories.
Today's defeat is the sixth in seven games for the Wolverines.
DeShawn Sims' 12 points led Michigan (3-6) which started two freshmen and two sophomores. Starting point guard Jerret Smith was forced to sit out the game for academic reasons.
Michigan leading scorer Manny Harris was held to eight points, about half his season average
