Ringer Named Big Ten Co-Offenisve Player Of The Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State running back Javon Ringer was named the Big Ten's co-offensive player of the week Monday.
Ringer ran for two TDs and a career-high 203 yards Saturday in a 52-27 win over Indiana. He has rushed for more than 100 yards in four straight games.
Northwestern quarterback C.J. Bacher shares the offensive honor with Ringer. Bacher, who wins the award for the second straight week, threw for 470 yards and four TDs in a double overtime win against Minnesota.
The Big Ten's defensive player of the week was Iowa linebacker Mike Humpal. He racked up a career-best 18 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss, and recovered a fumble to aid Iowa's win over Illinois.
Ohio State punt returner Brian Hartline won special team honors. His school record 90-yard punt return for a TD helped the Buckeyes remain unbeaten with a victory over Kent State.
