No real surprise-- former MSU forward Goran Suton was cut Wednesday by the NBA's Utah Jazz. Suton was the 56th of 60 players chosen in the June draft. He averaged a little better than two points per game in exhibition play. The Jazz are down to 16 players from 19 and have four more to cut before opening night. No word on Suton's future plans. The 24-year old former Everett High School star may well now opt to play somewhere overseas.
