Texas Roadhouse
This review was submitted by Brad I GUESS IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE WHAT TIME YOU GO. I HAVE HAD TO WAIT BUT NOUTHING EXTREME, GOOD FOOD FAIR PRICE. THEY DO HAVE WAIT STAFF THAT ARE AIRHEADS. This review was submitted by Tom My sister and I went to the Texas Roadhouse before going to a movie to see what it was all about. Well we soon found out...it took four people to figure out where to seat us, asked us 3 times if we wanted smoking or non-smoking. They gave us the rolls and butter but we had no silverware. We requested silverware and got it about 10 minutes later - after the waiter passed us 3 times. So we resorted to dipping the bread in the butter tub. Meanwhile the waiter didn't ask us what we wanted to drink so we were thirsty after eating the rolls and waited another 15 minutes for him to come to take that order - so we ordered our food and drinks at once. All we ordered was a salad and a hamburger. We waited half an hour for our food. So my sister asked another waiter what was taking so long and he said that something was messed up, but our waiter never told us anything. Another 10 minutes and we get our food (a total of 40 min waiting for a salad and hamburger!) - the only reason we didn't get up to leave was because we had a movie to catch and didn't have time to go somewhere else. I was supposed to get bread with my salad and didn't get that and my sister's hamburger was slopped together. We told the waiter right away that we wanted our bill so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. He brought the bill about 10 min after we ate our food, then walked off before we could give him the money we had in hand. Another 15 min and he took our money and then another 15-20 before he brought our change and even then he didn't have the correct change and had to go back again!! He quick said sorry as we were leaving but by then we were pretty mad, and there were 4 other tables next to us that was also pretty steamed. So needless to say, he got NO tip and we are never going back there again!!! This review was submitted by Dana I have been to the Texas Roadhouse twice. Recent 2nd visit was better. I think the prices, food and service were good the night we went. It is a little loud. Texas Roadhouse is far too busy for medium quality food. They have good rolls. I'll give them that much. I think Texas Roadhouse is great. It's a little noisy, but the food and service are terrific. This review was submitted by Clara I just love eating at Texas Roadhouse. You get what you pay for and the steaks are great. I have never had a problem with the help and they are always willing to help you on how to order. It is a great place to take a date and you never have to wait long to be seated. The inside of the place is very nice also. I went there after a movie with my boyfriend. We didn't have too long of a wait to get seated. But it all went down hill from there. We ordered after waiting a while for our waiter to get to use. It had been around a half hour and our salads hadn't come yet. Then when we asked out waiter about it he said that one of the dinners had been dropped so they were making another one. So we finally got our salads and they ran out of ranch dressing too.... So we ate our salads and the waiter came out and said his was sorry about the wait and that the manager was going to come over and talk to us. The manager never came and the waiter brought us a card from the manager for a free appetizer, which we never get anyway. Then an hour and a half later our food came and it was cold. We then told our waiter and he got the manager and the manager said something like he didn't understand why it was cold and that the dinner was on him. Which I thought was ridiculous because we didn't eat it. The manager was very rude and not helpful at all. I can't say that I will be going there ever again. The food isn't great and the prices aren't expensive but it's not cheap either. This recipe was submitted by Bree I think their food is good, but the service is fair to poor. First time today in Harvey, la. Wife had chicken Fried Stake and gravy. Said it was good. I was not hungry, had upset stomach, but ate Salad and ribs, appetizer I think it was. I really liked the salad, and the ribs were good enough. No complaint. The staff paid attention to us, came around a lot and offered help. I would eat there again, hoping everything would go as well as it did today. |
