A man suspected in a three-state stabbing spree that killed five people says he won't fight extradition to Michigan to face charges.
Thirty-three-year-old Elias Abuelazam appeared Friday in an Atlanta courtroom. He was arrested late Wednesday as he was waiting to board a flight to his native Israel at the Atlanta airport.
Abuelazam is charged with attempted murder in a July 27 stabbing in Michigan, where all but four of the 18 attacks occurred.
Other attacks were in Ohio and Virginia.
Abuelazam, an Israeli citizen who is in the U.S. with a green card, was living in Flint.
