Description: OfficeTeam is a division of Robert Half International. We specialize in placing temporary and temporary to permanent administrative professionals. One of our growing companies in the Greater Lansing area is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide and perform secretarial, clerical and administrative support services for upper level management staff as needed. As an Executive Assistant, you will perform various word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, typing and proofreading duties such as correspondence, forms, tables, contracts, and financial reports, often confidential in nature. The Executive Assistant produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data and graphics. The Executive Assistant will need to manage, arrange, prioritize and communicate calendar and daily schedules of the upper management, plus answer, screen, monitor, route, relay information, and respond to telephone calls and visitors. As the Executive Assistant you will need to establish, maintain and revise record keeping and filing systems, classify, sort and file correspondence, articles records and other documents. As an Executive Assistant you will need to prepare correspondence, agendas, board/committee books, and conference rooms of each meeting. You will also attend, compose and maintain minutes of meetings as assigned. Plan and arrange special events as directed and make all travel arrangements, program registrations etc. for outside programs for the upper level management. The Executive Assistant will also coordinate completion of external / internal surveys and statistical reports as requested develop and maintain inventory system and handle any other duty as requested.
