Salary: $13.73 per hour
Description: The Technical Media Producer has the general responsibility for directing live or pre-recorded productions as assigned, monitoring of WILX’s on-air streams, transmitter, FCC logs and ingesting daily programming and commercial inventory(ies). Regular assignments will involve directing specific newscasts, misc. station productions, and various elements for the web channel. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Direct live and pre-recorded productions as assigned for WILX-TV10. Require skill with the following: Ross Overdrive automation, Ross production video switcher, MCR / Harris automation, Utah House routing system, VizRT graphics, Adobe Photoshop. Require skill of all supporting equipment in Production/Master Control - including the ability to effectively perform operations with robotic camera operation, prompter operation, audio operation and a working knowledge of in-house web production. Require skill for live truck operations and internet-based video operations (i.e. Skype or similar) Understanding of FCC program & transmitter logs and FCC broadcast regulations. Work with AVID iNEWS, newsroom computer system. Prep Media for news as needed. Understanding of all equipment in studios and production areas. Dedication to care of equipment. Work closely with all other departments to meet all daily demands. Training of new personnel as assigned. Assist in maintaining clean studios and production areas. Variable work schedule due to changing shifts, turnover, station projects, etc. Overtime (for regular employees) will be possible per labor/management contract. Other Duties as Assigned Requirements: Newscast directing/Master Control experience or Technical Directing experience in a system nearly identical to WILX. Great communication and people skills. Operating knowledge of PC’s and graphics computers (Vizrt knowledge and experience preferred). Understanding of FCC broadcast regulations. Pre-employment drug screening. Sitting or standing for long periods of time. Good or corrected hearing and vision. Good English speaking skills, the ability to speak clearly. Ability to carry moderately heavy equipment, cameras, tripods, monitors (greater than 50 lbs.). May be working in extreme weather conditions, heat or cold. Potential exposure to high noise or unusual light levels. Ability to work on studio lighting fixtures on a ladder – higher than 10 ft. Back Hoe Operator with CDL-A

$14.00 per hour
Driving a dump truck and hauling old concrete, sand, stone or top soil. Load dump truck with removed concrete
or asphalt and haul to recycling or land fill facility. Load dump truck with sand, stone or top soil and deliver to
project job site. Record proper documentation on receiving tickets & turn tickets in on a timely basis. Transport
backhoe or Bobcat to project job sites. Operate backhoe, Bobcat or other power equipment as needed. Move
and place sand, stone, top soil or brick as needed. Assist with breaking up and removing old concrete as
needed. Daily check of vehicles, performing routine maintenance and scheduling repairs as needed. Secondary
duties may include: concrete laborer duties as needed or season and work load requires.
Must obtain a valid CLASS A DRIVERS LICENSE by date of hire. Experience with heavy equipment, especially
backhoe required. Must have a clean driving record and must be insurable. Job duties may require heavy lifting.
1-3 years of experience with concrete masonry is a plus. If hired, must provide own transportation to 11880 S
Krepps Road, DeWitt, Michigan. We recommend a National Career Readiness certificate for all applicants to this
position. Undergo drug screening; undergo a reference or security check.
