Capital Steel & Wire is seeking a full time Saw Operator to join our team at our Lansing, Michigan facility. This position will be responsible for properly carrying out saw operation duties as assigned and executing other duties as assigned by the manager.
Responsibilities include: Loading and unloading material into saws. Setting up saws for specific jobs. Monitoring orders as they are processed by the saw. Maintain proper paperwork as required by each specific job. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications Candidates must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, have the ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, and be able to perform basic math functions. General computer experience is required. Hi-lo and fork truck experience is preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements Able to stand for 8 consecutive hours Perform physical activity such as bending, reaching and twisting Able to lift 15-50 pounds repeatedly Able to tolerate exposure to machinery and loud noises Must possess valid drivers' license

Evaluate children and/or parents referred by Court staff and Judges and provide written psychological reports to the Court. Testify in Court relative to findings when requested to do so. Evaluate prospective employees, foster and group home parents when requested and provide recommendations as to the personality and stability of these persons. Assist in conducting training programs and provide consultation to the staff.
Essential Functions: Evaluation of children and parents who are being dealt with by the Court due to neglect, abuse or delinquency. Prepare written evaluation reports as a result of testing and consultation. Testify when necessary at hearings. Attend staff meetings, case conferences and planning meetings. Provide consultation to staff and Judges on cases processed by the Court. Assist with in-service presentations to Court staff, volunteers, group home parents and foster home parents. Provide individual and/or group therapy to children and/or parents being supervised by the Court. Evaluate prospective foster home and group home parents and provide recommendations relative to such evaluation. Evaluate prospective employees in the professional ranks of the Court and provide recommendations relative to such evaluation. Provide emergency assistance and/or consultation for the staff concerning problems at the Youth Center or in other placements (possibly after normal hours and on weekends). Assist with overall planning in the areas of treatment, detention and placement services.
Education: A Ph. D. in the Counseling, Clinical Psychology or other related Psychological disciplines is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively increased responsibilities as it relates to counseling and criminal justice is required. Experience with counseling adolescents and their respective families is preferred.
Other Requirements: Must be fully licensed or on track to obtain licensure as a Psychologist with the State of Michigan.
Must be able to pass a court screening process.
