CSI Utility Sales is a professional manufacturer's representative agency serving the Michigan electric utility market since 1988. Our product groups include transmission & distribution, substation, street lighting, wire and cable, and installation equipment.
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the individual fulfilling this position shares in the responsibility of the efficient and effective operation of the sales office. To accomplish this goal, the individual will assist the Office Manager with general office duties including filing, data entry and other duties as assigned.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Receive and process all customer purchase orders and manufacturer invoices. Filing and data entry as required. Complete manufacturer reports as requested. Actively communicates problems, concerns and opportunities to the Office Manager. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A minimum of a high school diploma with two to five years of office experience. Position requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 products including Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is a plus. Candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills and a dynamic personality in order to effectively correspond with customers and manufacturers. Position requires a self-motivated individual who can operate independently, but can also work collaboratively with other organizational resources. Position calls for a professional manner and appearance.
Working Conditions Normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and other factors. Occasional lifting and hauling of manufacturer samples.

Salary: $33.90 per hour
Description: Responsible for installation and maintenance of a wide variety of components associated with
power distribution at all BWL production facilities including but not limited to: Eckert Station,
REO Town, Erickson Station, Dye Water and Wise Road facilities.
Must have or acquire the ability to: Install and maintain breakers, transformers, switches, tap changers, on 138KV, and on potentially energized voltages of 13.2KV 480-V and lighting systems. Installs and repairs electric motors and controls. Installs electric conduit andcable. Installs and maintains DC battery system. Works on phone and computer equipment installations. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Occasionally must work for Delivery Process including storm outages, etc. Required to follow BWL Safety Manual and wear required personal protective equipment. Shall attend training for safety awareness or skills improvement as required by supervisor, BWL, or governmental agency such as MIOSHA. Performs other duties as required or necessitated by job responsibilities.
Requirements: Candidates must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Journey worker certification as electrician required. Must have experience on at least three phase 480-volt distribution systems and motor connections. Experience with primary cable terminations; installation, operation and maintenance of high-voltage switchgear; and DC battery services preferred. Electric, industrial or manufacturing production facility experience preferred. Must be respirator certified. Must be CPR/First Aid qualified, or be able to obtain qualification within six months start date. Must be available to work any shift, not necessarily with Saturdays and Sundays off. Must be able to work overtime if needed. Lift boxes, conduit, cable, panels, and controllers weighing up to fifty pounds. Considerable standing and walking. Work involves bending; crouching, kneeling, while making installations. Frequently work from ladders and platforms, must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must have good visual acuity to read blueprints and to make proper cable terminations. Must have good hearing to communicate in noisy environments and to locate source of electrical problems. Must occasionally work in confined and enclosed spaces and wear respirator. All temperature and humidity ranges. Noise and dust levels may be high at times.
