KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- Afghan and NATO officials say two civilian police training contractors who were killed by an Afghan policeman were American, and the third was a British citizen.

The shootings took place yesterday at a training academy in western Afghanistan.
Officials say the gunman, who was assigned to the center's protection unit, was killed after he opened fire on the trainers.
In other violence, a NATO official says two service members with the U.S.-led coalition were wounded today when an Afghan soldier opened fire on them in northern Afghanistan.
And a NATO service member has been killed in an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan.
