Space Shuttle Launch Delay

Shuttle Endeavour was supposed to blast off April 19 with the husband of wounded congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Mark Kelly, at the helm. The launch is now scheduled for April 29.
NASA announced the postponement Monday, after conferring over the weekend with the Russian Space Agency and other space station partners.
It will be Endeavour's final flight and the next-to-last shuttle mission
An unmanned Russian cargo ship is set to blast off at the end of April. NASA did not want the craft docking at the International Space Station while Endeavour was still there.

They just now figured this out? Wouldn't you think they knew about the Russian launch months ago? Kinda lousy for people like me who planned a vacation to Florida so we could see our first ever shuttle launch. We have to be back to work on the 27th, do you think the airlines will let me reschedule my flights?

Obama is trying very hard not to have the shuttle program end on his watch. He may try to stretch the last two mission out for two years.
