"It would lend one to believe, given everything that we know about the weapons flow back across from Russia into eastern Ukraine that they at least had some part of training, maybe even supervision of this particular weapons system."

Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers is one of many who don't believe the Ukrainian military shot down Malaysia Airline flight MH17.
The Republican from Livingston County and chair of the House Intelligence Committee said Russia's military leaders have blood on their hands. The fact that the weapon suspected in the attack is highly sophisticated and would require a lot of training and maintenance leads him to think it was the Russians. "It would lend one to believe, given everything that we know about the weapons flow back across from Russia into eastern Ukraine that they at least had some part of training, maybe even supervision of this particular weapons system," said Rogers. He thinks Russian president Vladimir Putin has lost plausible deniability of his country's involvement with pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine.
