TOKYO (AP) -- Japan reports its economy grew at a slower-than-expected annualized rate of 1.4 percent in April-June, adding to worries over the global outlook.
The Cabinet office said Monday that growth slowed in the world's third-largest economy as consumer spending moderated following a rebound in the previous quarter from last year's earthquake and tsunami disasters.
It said sluggish exports also cut into growth.
