BAGHDAD (AP) -- A local health official says 15 Iraqis have been killed and 40 wounded in a suicide bombing northeast of Baghdad that targeted a funeral for a Shiite tribal leader.
Diyala health directorate Faris al-Azzawi said the bomber detonated his explosives belt in a tent where mourners were gathered in Baqouba.
Baqouba is a former Sunni insurgent stronghold located 60 kilometers (35 miles) from the Iraqi capital.
