Workers at Japan's troubled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant were evacuated today after a dark plume of smoke escaped from one of the plant's reactors.
Officials say black smoke started to come out of the unit three reactor, prompting a new evacuation of the complex.
This comes after officials said they managed to connect electricity to the central control room of unit three.
Workers are still desperately trying to cool the reactors at the plant in order to prevent a meltdown.
