Maastricht, The Netherlands - Two men in the Netherlands are being held on suspicion they attempted to sell or use the deadly nerve gas sarin. Dutch police spent three days digging up a wooded area after a tip that sarin could have been buried there. They did not find any trace of the deadly nerve agent, but have enough evidence to continue to hold two of four suspects who were detained. A representative of the prosecutor's office said they don't believe the suspects had any terrorist ambitions and their motives were probably financial. It's not clear if a buyer had been lined up. Sarin is classified as a weapon of mass destruction by the United Nations. A sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway system killed thirteen people in 1995.
