The Jackson Promise needs $2.1 million to start funding higher education.
Jackson, MI - The Jackson community is working to raise $2.1 million to fund the Jackson Promise program.
The Promise guarantees students college tuition...if they can raise enough money.
If students at five Jackson High Schools graduate, they could receive funds towards attending Jackson Community College, Spring Arbor University or Baker College of Jackson.
The community hopes to have funds raised by 2015.
