Feline's Pride is recalling one lot of Feline's Pride raw food with ground bone and chicken formula for cats and kittens because it may be infected with salmonella. The recall affects products ordered and shipped from June 10-17. People handling raw pet food can become infected with salmonella, especially if they haven't thoroughly washed their hands. No reports of illnesses in people or pets have been reported, according to the Buffalo, N.Y., company. The recalled cat food was purchased online, packaged in uncoded plastic containers and sold frozen to consumers nationwide. For more information, consumers can call 716-580-3096.
