A consumer alert for pet owners tonight---
Diamond Pet Foods is recalling two brands of its dry cat food.
The recall is based on a lack of Vitamin B1, which can affect a cat's central nervous system.
The affected products are Premium Edge Finicky Adult Cat and Premium Edge Hairball Cat with the following date codes:
RAF0501A22X 18-lb. bag
RAF0501A2X 6-lb. bag
RAH0501A22X 18-lb. bag
RAH0501A2X 6-lb. bag.
The products should be returned to retailers--- and pets that consumed them should be checked out by a veterinarian.
