The Consumer Product Safety Commission wants parents, daycare providers and others to make sure they aren't using a Simplicity-brand crib, bassinet or play yard.
The CPSC says the company that took over Simplicity after foreclosure (SFCA Inc.) isn't answering phones, responding to emails or providing repair kits to fix hundreds of thousands of defective cribs.
Parents and caregivers are urged to dispose of the cribs because of the potential danger to children.
