500,000 coffeemakers are being pulled off shelves because of a fire hazard.
The recall involves the "Signature Gourmet" and "Kitchen Gourmet" 12 and 10-cup coffeemakers sold exclusively at Walgreens stores.
These coffeemakers can ignite due to an electrical failure, posing a fire hazard. Atico International USA, Inc. has received 23 reports of coffeemakers igniting, resulting in property damage. No injuries have been reported.
Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled coffeemaker and contact Atico International USA for instructions on returning the product for a full refund.
