MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Police say a Wisconsin man who killed his wife and two other women at a Milwaukee-area spa bought the gun used in the shooting spree two days after a court ordered him to turn in all firearms.
Forty-five-year-old Radcliffe F. Haughton was ordered to turn in all weapons during a hearing in which his estranged wife obtained a four-year restraining order.
Forty-two-year-old Zina Haughton told the court her husband had been terrorizing her for years.
Haughton also was involved in a 90-minute standoff with police officers responding to a 911 call from his wife last year. Police officers who responded thought they saw Haughton point a gun at his wife.
But police now say they never confirmed a weapon was present.

Should the person who sold him the weapon be charged with murder if it was purchased after the court order? Was a background check done if it was purchased in a store or was it bought on the streets? Knowing history, did the police physically go and remove all weapons from his possession or did they take his word that he would? Lots of questions to answer.
