HARPER WOODS, Mich. (AP) -- Police say they have a suspect in custody more than a month after an outbreak of gunfire at a suburban Detroit mall left two men hospitalized and sent panicked shoppers fleeing to exits.
Harper Woods Deputy Chief Jim Burke says in a statement Friday that U.S. Marshals arrested a male suspect. Burke says charges could be brought over the weekend.
Burke says police are looking into the possibility that a second person may have been involved in the shooting. Additional information wasn't immediately released.
Police said a dispute between two rival groups of teens escalated into gunfire Nov. 27 when members of one group opened fire inside Eastland Mall.
