Snapchat Phone Numbers Stolen

If you have the phone app called "Snapchat," listen up. The usernames and phone numbers for 4.6 million Snapchat accounts have been downloaded by hackers who temporarily posted the data online.

The website "Snapchat DB" released the information but censored the last two digits of the phone numbers. It's not online anymore, but a captured version is still available.

The hackers behind the website said they exploited the security flaws with the app which were highlighted by Gibson Security. Gibson warned of Snapchat's vulnerabilities earlier, saying it was only a matter of time something like this happened.

Snapchat allows users to take pictures and send them to friends, deleting themselves after being viewed.
