CAMPO, Calif. (AP) -- Fire officials say a body has been found in a burned home that was destroyed by a wildfire burning near the Mexican border in San Diego County.
Cal Fire spokesman Richard Cordova says it's too soon to know the gender of the body found Monday inside a home off Tierra Del Sol Road near Campo.
At least 20 homes were destroyed in the fire that broke out Sunday near the Campo Indian Reservation.
The 2,000-acre blaze was 10 percent surrounded Monday morning. About 80 homes were ordered evacuated near the Campo Indian Reservation.
