COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- An aircraft en route from Detroit to Phoenix has made an emergency landing in Colorado Springs after having trouble with one of its engines.
Delta Flight 1921 landed at the Colorado Springs Airport Thursday morning.
The airport said the plane's 225 passengers were evacuated on the plane's emergency slides as a precaution because the Boeing 757 had hot brakes following the landing.
The FAA said a fire was also reported in the plane's main landing gear.
The airport said two passengers suffered minor injuries during the evacuation and were taken to the hospital.
A telephone call to Delta wasn't immediately returned.
