A massive fire destroyed dozens of businesses on the Jersey shore boardwalk today. Many of them had just rebuilt from Superstorm Sandy.
There are reports that 80 percent of the boardwalk is ruined. Crews ripped out a 25-foot section and replaced it with a huge pile of sand to act as a fire-break. That seems to have slowed it down, but firefighters still say it's out of control.
The fire started at an ice cream stand and strong winds helped it spread quickly. No injuries are reported.
