Corrections Officer Training Academics Could Cut Costs

Posted: 7:23 PM - Dealing with shortages in corrections officers, the state is taking another step to fix that. Next month it's reinstating its state-funded training academy, which was farmed out to community colleges less than two years ago. The department hopes it will help cut costs in the long run.
