$50 Million of Frustration

Posted: 07/20/2012 - The state responded Friday to Thursday's Auditor General's reported that found a $50 million dollar project filled with all kinds of errors. A spokesperson for the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget called the project a "failure," but said the state is committed to fixing what went wrong. What was supposed to be a five year contract has turned into a nine-year-long ordeal, and the project isn't even closed to finished.

Judge Sends Case to Trial in Kemp Death.

Posted: 07/19/2012 - The Lansing couple charged in the death of two-year-old Brandon Kemp is headed to trial. Judge Deluca made that decision Thursday after hearing more emotional testimony against Mercedes Kemp and Marcus Hill. The prosecution also reinstated charges in regards to Brandon's older sister, for child abuse in the first degree. The testimonies are heart breaking for any parent to hear.
