LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- A new series of YouTube videos produced by the state Department of Natural Resources and several partners features Michigan's so-called "seven wetland wonders."
The department is inviting hunters to check out the sites this fall.
The videos showcase managed waterfowl areas at Shiawassee River State Game Area in St. Charles, Pointe Mouillee State Game Area in Rockwood, Fish Point State Wildlife Area in Unionville, Harsen's Island Managed Waterfowl Area in St. Clair County and Nayanquing Point State Wildlife Area in Pinconning.
The other two managed waterfowl areas are Fennville Farm Unit at the Allegan State Game Area and Muskegon County Wastewater Facility.
In the videos, DNR Wildlife Division staffers describe each area and discuss topics such as types of waterfowl present and hunting rules.
