Woody The Woodchuck Ready To Spring Into Action

Livingston County's resident weather-prognosticating woodchuck is set to make her annual prediction on how long winter will stick around.
Officials say it might be the first time Woody's prediction comes in the middle of a blizzard.
The event is to take place around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Howell Conference and Nature Center in Marion Township.
It'll be Woody's 13th such prediction.
Howell Conference and Nature Center executive director Dick Grant tells the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of Howell that Woody has correctly picked winter's end nine of 12 times.
