KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) -- Police in Kalamazoo say a woman was critically injured after being struck by a minivan on Halloween night while trying to cross the street with two young children.
The Kalamazoo Gazette reports a Halloween treat bucket and a wig could be seen in the middle of the road after she was hit about 9:40 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the 1- and 5-year-old children weren't injured. Police say they may have been crossing the road to get to a friend's house.
The minivan's driver was interviewed at the scene. The woman's name wasn't immediately released.
