A 21-year-old Kentucky woman has been charged with making a bomb threat last week to the Bath School District.

Stephanie Hatfield remains in jail facing one count of making a bomb threat, which is a four year felony.

Investigators says Hatfield is from Kentucky, but has been staying with a friend in Bath for an unknown period of time. They are unaware of any connection between her and the Bath school district.

Two overnight calls were made to the Bath school administration office last week. A threatening message was left during each call.

The messages were discovered when administrators arrived last Thursday. School was delayed while authorities searched all the district's buildings. Nothing threatening was found and school resumed two hours late.

Hatfield was arrested Friday.

She obviously doesn't know Bath's history, or doesn't care because she's that crazy and/or cruel. It may have been a long time ago, but the school tragedy in Bath is far from forgotten and still a very painful legacy for the whole town.
