Woman Buys Explosive Device at Garage Sale

A woman returned home from a morning of garage sales and found an explosive device among her purchased items.

Lansing Police responded to the house on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Sunday afternoon.

The Michigan State Bomb Squad also arrived, and defused what they call a "Cricket Style IED."

No one was hurt.

The Lansing woman can't remember where she bought the device, but thinks it might have been at a garage sale in Mason.
