A woman in Jackson County is facing larceny charges after deputies say she stole a credit card from a couple she was caring for.
The victims, who live in Summit Township, called the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Tuesday after realizing cash and a credit card was missing from their home.
An investigation revealed the credit card had been used at several area businesses. Deputies say a 57-year-old woman, employed as a home care worker by Evergreen Home Care was identified as the suspect, who used the credit card to go on a shopping spree.
A report will be sent to the prosecutor's office for review on charges of larceny, fraudulent use of a transaction device and possession of a stolen transaction device.
