The store reopened at 12:40 p.m.
The Delta Township Fire Chief tells News 10 there was not a gas leak, but there had been a malfunction in the vents on the store's roof.

was just in the Okemos location and in which there was a odorless "gas" producing cough and burning eyes...is this a coincidence? No one was evacuated while I was there. Get back to work to see if anything has been reported and catch this news clip.

I was in the store when they announced this, I was very impressed with the way the WM staff handled this and how cooperative all of the other customers were, not too much grumbling, maybe there's hope for us yet.

Seen the firetrucks and Walmart being evacuated. A little too close for comfort. Hope everything is okay over there now. Things seem to be settling down and they are letting people back in the parking lot. Consumers is still there.
