A Michigan soldier, killed in Afghanistan, is being remembered in Owosso today.

Army Pfc. Shane Cantu died August 28th when he was hit with shrapnel in a bomb attack at his base.

Visitation for the 20-year-old will be Saturday and Sunday at the Nelson-House Funeral Home. That's on Mason Street from 2:00-8:00 p.m.

Cantu's funeral will be Monday at 5:00 pm. at Corunna High.

Governor Rick Snyder has ordered flags to half-staff Monday in Cantu's honor.

Cantu was a 2010 graduate of Corunna High School.

Flags will remain at half-staff Tuesday, September 11, for Patriot Day, as well.
