A utility worker fell about 20 feet from a ladder Tuesday while working on power lines.

The man was not identified, but Board of Water and Light spokesman Steve Serkaian says he is a Coldwater man who was assisting BWL crews.

The fall happened while crews were working at 1620 W. Mt. Hope Road in Lansing.

Serkaian say the man suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for examination.
