WARMING CENTERS / SHELTERS LIST FOR DECEMBER 26TH.
Warming centers have been opened for people without power and with no other place to go. Officials are encouraging people to only use the shelters as a last resort. If you seek shelter at one of the warming centers, please bring your own food, clothing, personal hygiene items and any medications you need. No pets, firearms or drugs and alcohol are allowed.

Lansing: Harry Hill Vocational Center, 5815 Wise Rd.
Delta Township: Calvary Lutheran Church, 6301 W. St. Joseph Highway
Lansing: Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Road
Lansing: Alfreda Schmidt Southside Community Center, 5825 Wise Road
Lansing: St. Casimir Catholic Parish, 815 Sparrow.
Lansing: Gier Community Center, 2400 Hall St.
Lansing: Advent House, 743 N. MLK

Bath Township: Bath Township Hall, 14480 Webster Road
Delhi Township: Riverview Church, 3585 Willoughby Road
East Lansing: The Bailey Community Center, 300 Bailey St., is now open as a 24-hour warming center through Friday evening. Officials said it could remain open longer depending on community need. Open to all community members, staffed by a police officer and transportation will be provided to shelters with overnight accommodations for those needing a place to sleep.
East Lansing: Valley Court Community Center, 201 Hillsdale Court, is serving as a warming center from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday.
Eaton Rapids: First Congregational Church, 300 S. Main St.
Haslett: Haslett High School, 5450 Marsh Rd.
Mason: Nazarene Church at 415 Maple Street (open Thursday and Friday)
Mason: First United Methodist Church, located 201 E. Ash St.
Meridian Township: Meridian Christian Church, 2600 Bennett Road
Ovid: United Church of Ovid, 131 W. Front St.
