It might seem early for cider, donuts, caramel apples, and all that fall has to offer, but Uncle John's Cider Mill is ready for it.

From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, the 6th Annual Great Lakes Cider and Perry Festival returns to the St. Johns establishment.

For $15 per person, you get a commemorative glass and 10 sample pours of cider at its finest.

All proceeds from the festival benefit the Great Lakes Cider and Perry Association.
