ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- The University of Michigan Museum of Art is opening an exhibition of the work of Swiss artist Mai-Thu Perret.
The museum in Ann Arbor says "Mai-Thu Perret: An Ideal for Living" will be the most comprehensive North American overview of the artist's work, and will include some pieces never before shown in North America.
Perret's work includes paintings, sculptures, ceramics, textiles and films. She also incorporates literature, design and performance into her pieces.
The exhibition opened yesterday and runs through March 13.
