Police identify the body found in Sandstone Creek Wednesday.

The Jackson County Sheriff says the body is that of 19-year-old Cherie Ann Irving of Jackson.

She was last seen Sunday. Her father reported her missing on Tuesday.

Authorities are investigating. An autopsy is planned.

If you have any information, please call Detective Sergeant Lee Rose at 517-768-7931.

*Irving's picture was provided to News 10 by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. It is a mug shot from an arrest in April for "failure to appear in court".
