UPDATE: Ingham County Animal Shelter Overcrowding

The Mid-Michigan community really stepped up after a story on News 10 and WILX.com, about overcrowding at a local animal shelter.

Ingham County Animal Control tells us several people signed up to be foster parents after seeing our story last week.

Even more promised to follow up today, in case any more cats were brought in over the holiday weekend.

The director of the shelter, Jamie McAloon Lampman, tells us it was a close call, but no animals had to be euthanized to make room for all the drop-offs.
