A two-car crash in Meridian Township left one car stranded on the railroad tracks as a train was coming.
It happened around 6:30 last night at the Railroad crossing on Okemos road, between Haslett and Grand River Avenue.
Meridian Township Police tell News 10 that attempts to alert the train operator failed and the train demolished the car. But the driver and passenger were able to escape unharmed.
The road was closed for an hour and a half, before reopening at 8:00 p.m. and the train was sent on its' way.
